Sweet five-year-old Brooke has been in her foster home for just one week, and she is already showing us what a wonderful girl she is! She is learning that the world can be a safe and kind place, and she is doing so well. Brooke is doing great in her crate while her foster parents are at work. She was recently spayed and has started taking short walks as she continues to recover. She does well on a leash, although she does pull & is a very strong girl! Grass is still a little unfamiliar to Brooke, but she is making great progress with potty training and is successfully going outside most of the time. She has also started venturing beyond her gated safe space to explore more of the house, which is a wonderful sign that her confidence is growing. Best of all, Brooke has made friends with the two resident dogs. She has especially taken a liking to her two-year-old Golden foster sister, and the two are becoming quite the pair. Brooke is making so much progress in just one short week. With patience, love, and a safe place to call home, this sweet girl is discovering that she has so much to look forward to.
